Jahkil Jackson is a 2-time best-selling author, youth-philanthropist, social-entrepreneur, student-athlete, content creator and founder of Project I Am, a nonprofit organization he created when he was 8 years old to build awareness to homelessness. Now 16, Jahkil has already earned a reputation for himself as one of the world’s most influential changemakers by President Barack Obama.
Jahkil has made it his mission to assist those in need who are residing on the street and in shelters while engaging other youth to become change agents. In just a few years, Jahkil has led Project I Am’s efforts in raising $550,000 for the unhoused, has impacted over 135,000 men, women and children globally and has recruited over 2,000 youth to service those in need.
Jahkil was tapped to participate in multiple campaigns including Disney’s Be Inspired Black History, Lebron James’ #AlwaysBelieve, Nike’s Until We All Win & You Can’t Stop Our Voice and is now a Marvel Super Hero, CNN Hero Young Wonder and Tedx Talk speaker. He has also secured partnerships with the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, Invisalign, The Gap, Nasa Clip, Crisis Text Line, was named one of BET’s 15-under-15 and landed a collaboration with Crate & Barrel for his Power Pillow Collection.
DJ Fly Ty
DJ Fly Ty is an nineteen-year-old DJ from Kenosha, Wisconsin. He has been a professional DJ for over ten years. Since 2018, DJ Fly Ty has been a member of the V100.7 Milwaukee mix squad. As the youngest member, you can catch his mixes every Saturday at 11 am CST.
He became an author in 2019, with a book that he co-wrote with his mother entitled Mom, Dad, I want to be a DJ. Signed copies are available on this website under Unsigned copies can be purchased on Amazon.
DJ Fly Ty has been featured on both FOX6 News Milwaukee, in True Star Jr. Teen Magazine, and in MUMS Magazine. The 2019-2020 NBA season was DJ Fly Ty's first as a pre-game DJ for the Milwaukee Bucks organization, and this season, he continues to wow the fans with his high energy and skills
